The Living Wall
Public Living Room + Food Library
Living Wall is the culmination of two substantially similar concepts of the public living room and the public kitchen library, in which the extraction of both social programs from the familial scale evolves into a public social epicenter of the neighborhood. By embedding these programs within a wall, the surface becomes a functional space for socialization. Living Wall caters to the involvement of the community and extends interaction amongst them, thus creating a disruption in Brooklyn Triangle experiencing disparate cultures and lack of association amongst them.
