SUPPORT ASIAN VOICES
ASIAN AMERICAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER HERITAGE MONTH
Asian American students make up 6% of all architecture degrees in the United States.
While AAPI Heritage Month is a celebration for many AAPI, it’s a great opportunity WE can all partake in. With recent events of hate crimes against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, it’s important to show support for our AAPI friends, colleagues, and neighbors. As an industry that plays a role in shaping our society, we must make a conscious effort to increase the number of Asian American and Pacific Islander designers who reflect our society. Representation matters.
So beyond AAPI Heritage Month, let's continue to increase, support, and amplify Asian American and Pacific Islander voices in architecture.
