#Swing Dancing with Ann Dang

.

I was hooked immediately when I first saw people swing dancing at the Mercury Cafe in Denver, CO six years ago. The Mercury Cafe has swing dance lessons and social dancing which was how I got into it. Eventually I joined a swing dance performance team which was one of the best decisions I ever made for myself.

Time Management.

I set aside time every week to go swing dancing at least once a week. When there was a school or work deadline, I would take a break but I would always find some time to get back into dancing when things got less busy.

Resources.

Dance classes! I would look into dance classes in your area and it doesn’t necessarily have to be swing dancing. Even during quarantine, you can try online

dance classes/routines through YouTube, Patreon, or STEEZY Studio.
